Privacy policy

This policy covers concrete-calculators.com. The short version: the calculators run entirely in your browser, we do not have accounts, and we do not sell personal information. Effective September 3, 2026.

What runs on your device

The calculators themselves store three values in your browser's localStorage, not cookies: cc_unit_choice and cc_units, which remember the units you measure in, and cc_inputs, which remembers the last measurements you typed into each calculator so a return visit starts from your own numbers. These stay on your device and are never submitted to our server. The Start fresh link on any calculator clears its saved inputs, and clearing your browser data removes everything. Google Analytics sets cookies separately, described below.

Hosting logs

The site is served by Cloudflare. Like every host, Cloudflare processes standard technical logs (IP address, user agent, requested page) to deliver the site and block abuse. We do not use these logs to identify visitors. Cloudflare's own privacy policy governs its processing.

Advertising

The site is designed to carry Google AdSense advertising, but advertising scripts are not currently enabled and no advertising consent prompt is shown. Before ads are activated, we will implement a Google-certified consent management platform for regions where it is required and update this policy to describe the live choices and data processing.

Analytics

The site uses Google Analytics 4 to count page views and see which calculators and guides people actually use. It is loaded on every page through Google's gtag.js.

Google Analytics sets cookies on your device, named _ga and _ga_2WE1GT6LM9, which give your browser a random identifier so repeat visits are counted as one visitor rather than several. They expire two years after your last visit. Google processes the data as our processor and may use your IP address to derive an approximate location, which we see only as a country or region, never as an address.

We do not send Google your measurements, your saved inputs or anything you type into a calculator. Those never leave your browser.

Two ways to opt out: install Google's browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, which blocks Analytics on every site, or block the googletagmanager.com domain in your browser or an extension. Blocking it does not affect any calculator, since all of them run locally.

What we do not collect

The site has no contact form, no sign up, no newsletter and no accounts, so there is no way for you to hand us personal information and nothing of that kind reaches our server. The calculators run entirely in your browser.

Your choices and rights

Clear localStorage at any time to reset your unit preference. If you are in a jurisdiction with data access or deletion rights, note that the site keeps no server-side records about you, so in almost every case there is nothing on our side to access or delete.

Changes

If this policy changes, the effective date at the top changes with it. Material changes get a note on this page, not a silent edit.
